Jackson holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences and brings a strong background in scientific research to his work. His leadership blends a passion for sustainable beekeeping with a commitment to education and innovative pest management strategies

Morgan Horning, PhD
Morgan (Roth) Horning earned her Ph.D. in Entomology from Virginia Tech, where she researched Small Hive Beetles, following her master’s work on Varroa mite management. She has published her findings in peer-reviewed journals and continues to advance sustainable beekeeping through education, research, and integrated pest management strategies. As founder and CSO of August Castle Apiary, she combines scientific expertise with a passion for pollinator health and community education.
